History of AA
Charles Jarrott and a group of individual met together in London in June 19, 1905 and formed the Motorists’ Mutual Association or the MMA with the aim of considering ways on how to overcome the perceived police oppression of early motorists and the use of their speed-traps. Later in June 26, 1905, the MMA was renamed to the Automobile Association or the AA. Since then, the AA Customer Service has started receiving awards under the management of Edmund King, the President of the AA. The AA has registered the AA Charitable Trust for Road Safety and the Environment on July 22, 2008.

Products and Services Provided
Breakdown cover, European breakdown, breakdown repair cover, motorbike breakdown and business breakdown are offered with a 24/7 roadside assistance and a free access to AA member benefits. Other products offered by the AA Customer Service include Car insurance that is very helpful to drivers and serves as a protection from uninsured drivers, Home Insurance, Travel Insurance Life Insurance and Business Insurance. Financial Services are also provided by the Family Investments. You may also seek help and advice, if you are planning to buy a car. You may also learn to drive or be a driving Instructor through the AA Customer Service.

    I am abroad for the period when my AA roadside homestart renews. I have also moved address to 7 Portland Place, Horwich, BL66BF and don’t have a phone at the moment. I have registered on your website, but the site won’t let me change my address! What can I do?
