    I bought a macbook in October 2016 which is used by my wife for coursework and writing, and I just noticed that on the right hand side the bottom is separating from the rest of the frame. The computer is also getting very slow and loses wifi all the time, no matter what program is run. Perhaps related. This is unexpected. I thought that this computer, which is well cared for, would last more than 5 years, and we are just in the second year. As I am going to a scientific meeting tomorrow I am a bit concerned if this means it is still safe to use. Problem is, that she needs it for her study course, which was expensive, and I do not have a replacement computer for her. She needs a light weight notebook like this macbook as she is ill and spends her day mostly in bed.
    I have several questions. Can you replace the faulty computer before we send it back? I understand that this is a fault covered under the EU consumer protection law.
    Is the computer save to use until you can send a replacement? and can you make this work for us?

    I had few issues in learning how to do some stuff on my MacBook Pro and on my iphone X and trust me hands down these guys behind the telephone in Apple Customer Service are genius plus they are sooooo sooooo Helpful, Kind, Courteous, Patient falling short of adjectives to describe how good they are. I was on the phone for literally an hour as I needed to learn a lot of geeky stuff on my Mac and the representative showed absolute patience with me for the whole hour and even fully trained me on my Mac over the phone. Even if someone gives me a million pounds I am not changing my loyalty with Apple and their products. Only death will do us apart!!! Long Live APPLE!!!!! (A special thanks to all the 3 representatives who helped me so far my case no. 100521937953)

    I have a problem with a I pad that belongs to a friend who has learning difficulties, it was given to him and set up by one of his old carers at the home where he lives. Unfortunately someone else who also lives in the same home managed to put a password on it and with my friend not understanding what he was doing has now locked it, as we have no way of finding the email address that was used to set it up is there any other way it can be it reset. thanks
