I’m trying to facilitate the transfer of approximately $400,000:00 from a branch of BoA in Decatur Ga. USA to my US-$ account in the UK.

My sister, a long time resident of the US and an American citizen, died in November of 2015. I am the executor of her estate.

We are near the stage of distributions to beneficiaries – one of which is me – and we’re looking for a way to facilitate this.

Dan Lee, the CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and Georgia O’Brian the Trust Adviser, suggested I contact an arm in the BoA on the UK, and approach the process of an electronic bank transfer.

Can you suggest a way forward please?

I suspect the first stage would be verification of identity, in which case I guess I would need to turn up in person at an office of BoA.

As I’m based in Dorset, a trip to London is not a problem.
    regards, David Kenihan

I am trying to contact Bank of America with regards to some shares that I hold. The shares in question are for Flextronics International Ltd, which is now called FLEX LTD. I was told by computershare US, that the Bank of America took over the Banks that acted as the transfer agents at the time, the banks being namely The First National Bank of Boston and Fleet National Bank.

The shares were purchased in Feb 2000 and the stock then split and more shares issued in Oct 2000. I have the original share certificates which are registered to me at a previous address. Computershare US tried using the CUSIP Number on the shares with no success and then suggested my next step was to contact you. I have tried contacting the Bank of America by telephone but cannot bypass the automated banking telephone system because I am not a Bank of America account holder. I would appreciate any help or information that you could give me in this matter, so that I would be able to sell these shares in the future.
    Yours Sincerely
    S.Dibben
