A new idea
In 1978, James Dyson became unsatisfied with his vacuum cleaner’s bad performance. Taking it separately, he learned that its bag was blocked with dust, which causes the suction to fail. He’d recently built a manufacturing cyclone tower for his plant that divided paint particles from the air using centrifugal energy. But could the same theory work in a vacuum cleaner? He has set to work for 5 years and 5,127 samples later, he invented the first vacuum cleaner without a bag in the world. Today, there are Dyson technologies in more than 65 countries around the world. The Dyson Customer Service has established from 1 man to 1,000 engineers worldwide.

I have been told that you overhaul Dyson vacuum cleaners free of charge, is this information correct? I have a DC25 that is not working properly. I replaced filters but suction still seems to be poor. Dyson ID No is 480-uk A-50487

On 24/04/17 a technician from Dyson came to my home to renew the plug and lead (flex) on my Dyson Vacuum cleaner – Model is DC 41.
Exactly the same problem is happening again…..the lead (flex) is completely twisted and is impossible to A) Vacuum, without it getting tangled and – B) Wind the lead when finished hovering, will not wind correctly, keeps falling off. To be perfectly candid with you, in my opinion it is pointless sending another technician out to do the same thing again….the lead is not appropriate for this model. I have had Dyson Vacuum Cleaners from you for years. They have all been excellent apart from this particular model.

Would appreciate your assistance as soon as possible regarding this complaint.

    Yours sincerely
    M. M. Pepper

Hi there I have a Dyson DC50 which I am very happy with, the problem I have is that I’ve bought a new carpet & now when I vacuum the brush spins for a little while but stops, if I turn it off then on again it does the same, any clues as to how I can overcome this problem, it never happened with the old carpet which was a deep pile. Thank you for any suggestions. Mrs B.Feldon
