500 years of serving the country made the Royal Mail Customer Service rich in history and variety of service and innovation. In 1516, Henry Viii knighted Brian Tuke, the first Master of the post. Tuke had the influence and authority to create key post towns across the country and shaped out a formal postal network. From there, the Royal Mail had survived 21 monarchs and world wars. In 1840, they introduced the Penny Black Stamp, which gave way for the prepaid, one-price-goes-anywhere postage system. In 1911, from Hendon to Windsor, the first air mail service took place and that was the start of the global communication.

i have spent nearly 40 mins on your 0345 number waiting which i just found out has cost 9p per minute and is frustrating.
I have sent a parcel which was weighed and stamped by my local post office but the stamp has fallen off and the receiver has to pay £2.00. can i claim this back off you as i have the proof of postage on my drop and go and a receipt. If so how do i do it.
    Many thanks

I sent application to home office by special delivery guaranteed. the delivery has been signed as i tracked online. But i noticed on the receipt the post code was DH97 1AD but on the letter was DH99 1AD.
I am concerned that my application may have gone to different departament and it maybe delayed

Please could you remove the postman’s trolley from the grass verge in Leighfields Road, Eastwood, Essex SS9. This trolley has been left to rot and never moved for years now. Grass has grown through it, the council have to mow around it and now it has been tipped into its side by some delightful individual. Your help in this matter would be gratefully received as it is an eyesore.
    Thank you
